Website content and engineering tools
Content and tools are provided for information, education, planning and early-stage engineering analysis. They do not constitute operational approval, design authority, legal advice, regulatory approval or a substitute for manufacturer data, competent review, testing or approved procedures.
Averfold editions and price
Averfold Verify is free to open, restore and verify compatible protected records. Standard enables the creation of protected files and folders. The Standard price is £49 as a one-time payment, including applicable tax. It is not a subscription and has no recurring charge.
The purchase covers the Standard features described on the Averfold page. It does not include future separately priced editions, cloud storage, a file-transfer service, post-quantum evidence-signing tools or a promise of lifetime upgrades or support.
Licence and permitted use
A Standard licence is issued to its purchaser for their own personal or internal business use. It is permission to use the paid features, not ownership of the software or source code. Do not sell, publish or share your signed licence file with other users. These terms do not restrict acts that applicable law permits regardless of a contractual restriction.
Opening, restoration and verification remain free if a licence is missing, expires or fails validation. There is no paid requirement for a recipient to recover a compatible protected record. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your files to us.
Payment and delivery
Paid checkout is not open. The payment provider will be confirmed before sales open. For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorised reseller and merchant of record. Its Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction; these terms describe our software and product support. The final currency, tax and total will be shown before payment.
After payment is confirmed, we will email the signed Standard licence file to the checkout email address within two UK working days. Weekends and UK bank holidays do not count as working days. Delivery is manual and is not instant. No physical item or shipping charge is involved.
Install Averfold from the Microsoft Store, check the listed Windows system requirements, and install your licence through Help > Licence. Keep a copy of the licence and your receipt. If delivery is late or the licence does not work, contact support with the order reference; do not send passwords, recovery keys or private documents.
Preview limitations and backups
Averfold Preview has not undergone an independent security audit and is not certified or government approved. Use it for ordinary personal and commercial files with a separate backup. Do not use the Preview for classified information, regulated evidence or as the only copy of irreplaceable data.
A compromised computer can expose passwords and plaintext. We cannot recover a forgotten passphrase unless you created and retained a working recovery key. Anyone who obtains that recovery key can open the protected record. Authentication does not establish who created a file or when. No claim of secure deletion is made.
Support, refunds and rights
Product help is available through the contact routes above. A paid licence does not include emergency response, managed backup or a guaranteed technical-support response time. Refunds and cancellation and our Privacy Notice are explained separately.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights concerning digital content. Preview wording does not remove those rights.
Changes
We may update these pages for future purchases. An update will not retrospectively remove rights already agreed for a completed purchase. Keep the terms and receipt supplied with your order.
